As any real estate professional will tell you, kitchens and baths sell houses. Nobody wants to move into a house with a dingy, old bathroom and, for most homeowners, several large, spacious bathrooms is the ideal. Thus, bathroom remodeling runs the gamut from simply replacing fixtures to luxurious master suite additions.
“Frequently, we have clients looking simply to replace a shower. Perhaps, their ceramic tile shower is starting to leak and they want to go with a new, better performing material like cultured marble or a solid-surface unit,” says Tim Englert. “Another big part of our business is making bathrooms ADA (American with Disabilities Act) accessible. Adding grab bars and shower benches can make all the difference for the person who has a physical limitation but still desires independent living.”
